Octo-Dripper

The Octo-Dripper is birthmark’s reinterpretation of the classic V60 — a dripper with a form as functional as it is playful. Its unique groove pattern gradually deepens toward the base, while a smaller angle chamber increases flow rate and creates a thicker coffee bed with the same amount of grounds.

This design extends the contact time between water and coffee, ensuring full extraction and delivering a cup that is both clean and full-bodied. With larger doses, the domed coffee bed takes on the silhouette of an octopus head, while the outer skirt spreads like eight tentacles — the inspiration behind the name Octo-Dripper.

Handcrafted in Jingdezhen from high-fired porcelain, each piece carries subtle variations in glaze and facet. Equal parts brewing tool and sculptural vessel, it embodies Birthmark’s vision of functional poetry.
