yumiko iihoshi porcelain is a Tokyo-based ceramic atelier founded in 2007 by porcelain artist Yumiko Iihoshi, a graduate of Kyoto Saga University of Arts. Rooted in the philosophy of being “on the boundary between handmade and manufactured,” each piece blends thoughtful design with subtle individuality. Iihoshi develops her own molds and glaze recipes, then works with regional craftspeople to bring her vision to life—with the exacting detail of craft but the repeatable quality of production.
Her minimalist forms—whether the gently curving unjour plates or the soft contours of the ReIRABO glaze range—strike a delicate balance between serenity and presence. Because each product is touched by hands during production, variations in tone and finish are embraced as creative signatures, not imperfections. These qualities have earned the brand admiration from both home and professional spaces globally.
