The DISHES series, crafted in collaboration with Tokyo’s Kimura Glass, is Yumiko Iihoshi’s exploration of the subtle geometry that reveals new expressions of food. Each plate, ranging from compact 20 cm to generous 23 cm, differs by just a degree in rim angle or depth, yet transforms the mood of a dish when plated.

Designed with a flat, broad rim and clean silhouette, these plates invite the beauty of food to take centre stage. Their relaxed matte glazes, available in ink blue, fog gray, sand beige, and moss gray, offer tonal depth and pair effortlessly with both Japanese and Western tableware.

Under Iihoshi’s guiding ethos, “on the boundary between handmade and manufactured”, each plate blends precision moldmaking with artisanal glazing. Subtle irregularities become quiet signatures of craftsmanship, not flaws.
