Unjour, meaning “one day” in French, is a collection designed around the changing rhythm of the table, from breakfast to dessert, from everyday meals to shared dishes. The UNJOUR Plate has a soft, open form with a shallow rim, allowing food to sit naturally without unnecessary decoration.
Created by Tokyo-based designer Yumiko Iihoshi, the UNJOUR series reflects her approach to tableware that sits “on the border between handmade and manufactured.” Each plate is simple in outline, but expressive in surface, with subtle variations in glaze, colour, and finish that give every piece its own quiet character.
Available in four useful sizes, the collection can be built gradually for different parts of the day. The Goûter Plate 152 is ideal for small sweets, fruit, bread, or side dishes. The Après-midi Plate 192 works beautifully for cake, toast, small dishes, or as a saucer beneath a cup. The Après-midi Plate 220 is suited to everyday meals, breakfast, lunch, or serving. The generous Matin Plate 278 can be used for main dishes, shared plates, or more spacious presentation.
