Pave Tableware
Tokyo, Japan · Studio m’
Created with the image of dining on special occasions, the Pave series takes its form from the traditional kikkō (corner-cut) shape, also seen in Japanese family crests. This dignified design frames dishes with balance and elegance, tightening the overall presentation and giving meals a refined air.
Raised on a small “hill” base, the Pave plate creates space between the table and the dish, lending freshness and clarity to the table setting. Available in three glazes: Celadon (a fresh, pale light blue with a glass-like impression), Turkish Blue (a vivid tone with striking contrasts where glaze pools and flows), and Generated (a smoother-textured, neutral glaze for quiet presence).
With multiple sizes, Pave adapts beautifully: the 6-inch plate for main dishes, the 4.5-inch plate for side dishes or Japanese sweets, and the 3-inch small bowl for condiments or spicy foods. Elegant yet versatile, Pave brings a touch of ceremony to everyday dining.
