Studio m' Mille Rice Bowl
Mille Rice Bowl
Tokyo, Japan · Studio m’
Mille takes its name from the French word for “one thousand,” symbolising abundance and good fortune. Designed with this meaning in mind, the rice bowl features an elegant fan-like relief - a series of engraved pleats running from the rim to the foot, creating depth and rhythm across the porcelain surface.
When filled with rice, the Mille bowl brings a touch of elegance and quiet luxury to the everyday table. Its glazes are carefully developed to show exquisite colour variations, with fine white speckles that add texture, depth, and a dynamic sense of movement.
